Oil painting.
This octopus is massive, textured, and full of life. The Enteroctopus megalocyathus, or Patagonian giant octopus, normally dwells in southern seas and grows to about 4 feet long.
With this in mind for inspiration, I wanted to pump up the scale and curiosity levels by flooding my canvas with tentacles curling leagues beneath a deep blue sea. Any vessel traversing above this octo would be entirely at his mercy.
-31”x33”x1” with wire & D-rings attached, ready to hang.
